Harry Potter: Magic Awakened is a card-based MMORPG game that offers a great campaign and a variety of activities. Since there are so many Companion cards present, choosing three to win PvP or PvE battles can be quite tricky, especially when players reach higher ranks. So while they can all synergize differently with various decks, they have certain pros and cons that allow them to be sorted in a tier list.
Harry Potter: Magic Awakened Guide and Companion Card Tier List for Dueling Club PvP
PvP duels can bring a lot of different playstyles and strategies to the table. Since there are 76 cards available in the game at present and there is no advanced knowledge of what decks opponents may be using, players need to go for precise combinations. It is recommended that they opt for a few cards with less MP and include at least a couple of defensive options to ensure their and their summons’ survival for as long as possible. The current PvP meta involves a lot of appearances from Ron Weasley, Robyn Thistlethwaite, and Hermione.

Ron Weasley brings a lot of staying and damaging power, especially as it is the only Mythic card in the game so far. As such, one of the best picks against it is Ivy Warrington, who, if skillfully placed, can simply vanish him in one shot. Other cards like Minerva McGonagall and Hermione have good start-off attacks and also cause standard enemy debuffs, but their key power comes from the additional Stone Soldier summoned after eight cards or spells duplicated, respectively.
Cassandra Vole, Malfoy Gang, Frey Twins, and more add a lot of benefits by landing a decent chunk of damage against enemies. Meanwhile, Daniel Page is a good pick if players don't choose defensive primary cards, and can ensure Daniel survives long enough to add a lot of healing. The PvE fights in Forbidden Forest can be the high resistance, mostly static monster Yeti, or the very difficult-to-survive fights against the Demiguise. Aside from those, a lot of the fights, like in Solo Exploration or Into The Woods, involve facing off against an overwhelming number of creatures in addition to the main boss in the final fight.
While the smaller creatures may have relatively less health, their sheer numbers can easily defeat players. Additionally, such fights come with a time limit where an impossible-to-beat opponent joins the primary monster if the encounter is not over in the specified duration.
Given these facts, it is imperative that players favor movement and go for aggressive, high-damage attacks in Harry Potter: Magic Awakened's Forbidden Forest PvE. As such, the tier list given above can be highly beneficial. To start off with, Echo of Dobby is highly recommended as it can help with escaping attacks against overwhelming numbers. Ron Weasley is a massive tank and causes a lot of damage. Minerva McGonagall’s first batch transformation, debuffs, and the Stone Soldier she pulls can really make a difference.
Similarly, Hermione’s spell duplication and the great supportive damage that Kevin Farrell adds by enhancing basic attacks can be quite helpful. Grawp, Malfoy Gang, and others, while being less preferable, can also bring success to the table if primary cards are chosen well and synergize with the Echo.
If there are fights in Harry Potter: Magic Awakened where players are up against a few enemies or bosses that don’t move around much, the Harry Potter Echo and usage of low MP spell cards are recommended. With that rapid-fire set, equipping Minerva McGonagall and Hermione brings in additional benefits since it helps them bring in their special abilities quickly. Moreover, certain potions like the Befuddlement Potion can come in quite handy when dealing with large numbers of creatures aiding the boss.
